Next to Felafel heaven.

Came across a clearing now used to process healthy trees for sale and one very expensive top range tractor. Puddles were orange and red with oil deposits. On leaving the valley I met two gents with their dogs who told me the woods were being managed. Managed being the clearing of large healthy trees for sale, not removing dead wood, not planting any new saplings, not stopping the weekend hunters, developing the tracks so the huge tractor can get in to take away the trees and not clearing away what looked like pools red oil, which I thought was banned. Since 2020 the UK has lost over 10% of its trees so where is the meeting point to be net zero, must be constantly getting further away.
